Jay Shafran was most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate Accounts for Plus One
Health Management and also operated as the company's Director of Design & Development. He had direct responsibility over
the operations of 13 sites and as many as 15 design and development projects. His clients included Goldman Sachs, Merrill
Lynch, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Scholastic Inc, Abercrombie & Fitch, and New York Presbyterian Hospital,
among others.
In his time at Frontline and Plus One, he has overseen the development of dozens of projects and is recognized
as an industry leader in fitness center design and development.
Jay has also served in management roles for New York Health
& Racquet Club, Sports Training Institute, and Select Fitness.
He is co-author of Gym Psych: The Insider's Guide to Health
Clubs and was a contributing editor to Women's Health & Fitness Magazine.
