Liz Neporent is a true leader in the fitness industry. She is the former president of Frontline
Fitness and Plus One Health Management and is author or co-author of a dozen books on fitness and health, including Buns of
Steel, Abs of Steel, Fitness for Dummies, Weight Training for Dummies, The Ultimate Body, and The Fat-Free Truth. She is a
contributing editor for Prevention magazine, a writer on mind and body and other health topics for the New York Daily News,
and a frequent contributor to Shape, Self, Fitness and many other health and fitness journals. Liz also oversees two of the
most popular boards on iVillage.com – 100 Pounds or More, and Fit by Friday – where she supplies guidance,
support and content.
Liz recently served on the Executive Board of the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She holds a masters degree
in exercise physiology and holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise, the American College of Sports Medicine,
the National Strength and Conditioning Association, among others.
An avid runner, Liz has completed more than 20 marathons and ultra-marathons.
