Liz Neporent, president of Wellness 360, was recently named a national spokesperson for the “Life… Supplemented” campaign sponsored by the Council for Responsible Nutrition. The campaign is a two year effort by CRN to build consumer awareness about health and wellness.
“I believe that wellness is a careful balance of three pillars,” comments Neporent. “Healthy eating, filling those nutritional gaps with vitamins, minerals and other supplements and physical activity.” She goes on to say that other factors such as sleep, stress, caffeine intake and alcohol consumption also contribute to individual wellbeing.
To find out more about this campaign, go to www.lifesupplemented.org. Besides finding easy to follow tips and suggestions from of the top experts in the wellness field, you can take a quick, easy self assessment tool called My Wellness Scorecard to find out where you are on the wellness spectrum. Are you an “OhWELL” (someone who needs a lot of work to get healthy), an “AlphaWELL” (someone who’s super proactive about living a healthy lifestyle) or somewhere in between? Use your results to set realistic, manageable goals so you can move towards living a fitter, healthier, happier lifestyle. |
